Sreemath Bhagavatha Sapthaha Yanjam
The auspicious Srimadh Bhagavatha Sapthaha Ygnam,Which is known as emperor among Yagnas is held in the temple continuously for the past years. Devotees turn up large number to attend this yagnam, and with their help free feeding is also on all days. Every year this starts on the Malayalam month of "Meenam" along with Thiru_Uthsavam and last for 7 days.
Thiru Uthsavam (Annual Festival-8 days)
The procession starts with Trikodiyattu and end with Thiru arattu. This is one of the festival with huge gathering of people and elephants. There is the offering of Parra(literally, a measure of paddy) to amma.
The fireworks in the evening hours after “deeparadhana” adds more beauty by filling bright colors on the dark sky and special fireworks called Karimarrunnu prayogam during 2.00 am.During this period various art forms will be staged. It includes major Padayani, Ottamthullal, Goshayathra, Drama, Dance Drama, music performances etc.
